The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic is undeniably affecting every part of our lives; the business sector has changed its economic behaviour, the unemployment rate has increased, and online sales have increased. Now is the perfect time for companies to get creative and relocate their business to cyberspace.
Due to increased unemployment, poverty and social exclusion have worsened in partners’ countries. On the other hand, online work has opened up new opportunities for reducing environmental pollution, as distance learning minimises the use of paper and travel.
Creativity competencies have increased, and entrepreneurs must now consider moving their business to the digital space. Due to these conditions, the need to develop ICE (IT, Creativity and Entrepreneurial) competencies have increased in adult education.
Project partners work with socially excluded people; training courses are often uninspiring and difficult to follow. Also, in 2020 spring, many adult trainers arranging online courses faced a shortage of online methods. Adult trainers are looking for new training and attractive approaches to train this target group effectively. Non-formal training methods, such as games, are most appropriate.
During project implementation, partners will create a handbook with online non-formal games targeted explicitly for working with socially excluded adults to improve their ICE (IT, Creativity, Entrepreneurship) skills.
The project aims to develop a handbook for adult trainers and support them with online non-formal games in their work with socially excluded adults to improve their ICE (IT, Creativity, Entrepreneurship) skills and increase their social inclusion.
Adult trainers will be able to improve their skills in online non-formal methods. Socially excluded trainees will get higher-quality, more attractive training, and they will improve their digital, creative and entrepreneurship skills, they can easier integrated into the labour market, and social inclusion will continue to increase after project implementation.
